Student Clubs

The campus environment at ACM provides students with the opportunity to participate in Clubs. Clubs can be academic or non academic organizations formed by students who share similar interests and hobbies.

Club Objectives

• Engaging students in activities related to their interests, hobbies and talents.
• Developing interpersonal and organizational skills in addition to positive attitudes of the students.
• Developing the ability to Influence peers, use appropriate authority, organize and delegate tasks.
• Creating an environment where the students would enjoy learning.
• Bringing class theoretical knowledge to real life situations.
• Providing the society with well rounded and responsible citizens.
• Bringing a richer skill set to employers.

Club resources

• Club rooms are fully set with needed instruments and equipment
• Each club is supported financially by the Students Activities Center to start up its activities
• Most clubs are funded through club fund-raising activities
• Each club is supported during each event by the Students Activities Center through the following:
  ◊ Facilities (Green field, VDS Theater, Soccer field, Volleyball or Tennis courts)
  ◊ Resources (tables, chairs, electricity sockets, etc…)
  ◊ Necessary documents and letters to address companies and organizations.
  ◊ Follow-up and assistance to accomplish successful events.

Sports

Are you a sportive person? Are you a team player? Do you want to represent ACM in intercollegiate tournaments? Then join the Sports Club to develop your talent in any kinds of sports and make your college proud of you.

Female Sports Club

Females have their own sports club on campus to help them develop their sportive talents and represent their college in tournaments. The club is a place for all girls who want to either practice a certain kind of sports such as yoga or jogging or even participate in football or basketball tournaments.

Soccer Club

One of the most popular sports in the world has its own club on campus. For the football fans, this club is the right place to be, if you want to enhance your football skills and help organize and play in tournaments inside and outside campus.

Fashion

Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is about the latest trends, fashion is everywhere! Fashion is all about fresh and creative ideas. Our club encourages students’ artistic talents and handcrafts and discovers young entrepreneurs in the field of fashion and design.

Advertising and Exhibition

Do you like organizing events? The Advertising and Exhibition Club is responsible for organizing campus events and advertising them. The club provides its members with foundation knowledge as well as practice in graphic design, phases of an advertising project, and organizing exhibitions.

Theater

The theater is a place where emotions and true life situations are represented for everyone to see. It is so endlessly fascinating because it's so authentic. It's so much like life. Whether you like acting, directing, screenplay writing, or producing plays, the theater club will develop you skills as you work on several plays throughout the year.

Fine Arts Club

If you have an artistic side to you, then you should join the Fine Arts Club. Learn from talented and inspiring artists and showcase your masterpieces as the club organizes workshops with prominent artists and exhibitions for student work.

Music

A painter paints pictures on canvas, but musicians paint their pictures with sounds. Whether you are already an experienced musician or you want to learn to play an instrument or sing, this is the place to be! Polish your talent and let us be amused by the sound of your music.

Photography

Point, aim, shoot! Share your photography skills with fellow students, hear from experts in the field and also learn to use technology to enhance your photographs. The club develops students’ talents starting with choosing what to shoot all the way to publishing a picture. The main objective of this club is to help members become excellent photographers.

Community Service and Environment

The Community Service and Environment Club is one whose members care for their surroundings. The club is active socially and environmentally through organizing various charity events on campus; as well as, projects that aim at maintaining a healthy and clean environment. If you want to make a change around you, then the Community Service and Environment Club is the place to be.

Robotics and Technology Club

The Robotic and Technology Club is a club that introduces students to the latest technological advancements in this field; as well as, provide the students with an atmosphere to develop their knowledge and technical skills in science and modern technology. The club teaches students about the technology of robots and also provides a place for them to apply and develop their skills in this field.
