ACM Achieves ACBSP Accreditation

The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) Associate Degree Board of Commissioners has awarded the American College of the Middle East, located in Kuwait, accreditation of its business program for 10 years in the following concentrations: Accounting, Financial Services, Human Resources Management, and Marketing. Celebrating 30 years of excellence in global business program accreditation, ACBSP is the only organization offering specialized business accreditation for all degree levels, from associate to baccalaureate to doctoral degree programs. ACBSP accreditation certifies that the teaching and learning processes within the business program offered at the American College of the Middle East meets the rigorous educational standards established by ACBSP. “The American College of the Middle East has shown a commitment to teaching excellence and to the process of quality improvement by participating in the accreditation process,” said ACBSP Chief Accreditation Officer Dr. Steve Parscale, who will present the Certificate of Accreditation at ACBSP Conference 2019 in Houston, Texas, on June 23. “This accreditation is evidence that ACM is committed to providing the highest quality business education for their students”, he added. During the evaluation process, the accreditation team visited the American College of the Middle East to ensure that it meets the global standards required in the business administration program, curricula, faculty members, services, and students’ qualification. The Business Administration program was evaluated according to the Baldrige Education Criteria for Performance Excellence, which includes: Leadership, Strategic Planning, relationships with stakeholders, quality of academic programs, faculty credentials, and educational support to determine whether or not the business programs offers a rigorous educational experience and demonstrate continuous quality improvement. During the visit, members of ACBSP team have praised the quality of the program and curricula, the qualifications and dedication of faculty members and staff, the ongoing assessment and development at ACM, and the adoption of the latest technologies, equipment and facilities. As a result, the Business Administration Program at the American College of the Middle East has succeeded in meeting all criteria and in receiving the ACBSP accreditation from its first attempt and without any comments as an outcome of its endeavor to provide the best educational experience for its students by observing the highest international academic standards. www.acbsp.org www.acm.edu.kw
