Degree Requirements
The Diploma in Business Administration – Financial Services concentration degree requires a total of a 60 credit hours and a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.00.
- Minimum Business Core Requirements (18 credit hours):
(3) ACT 200, (3) ECO 200, (3) BUS 250, (3) MKT 210, (3) FIN 200, (3) BUS 201 - Financial Services Concentration Selective Requirements (18 credit hours):
(3) FIN 320, (3) FIN 330, (3) FIN 350, (3) FIN 360, (3) FIN 390, (3) FIN 395, (3) FIN 340, (3) FIN 380 - Math Requirements (6 credit hours):
- Quantitative Reasoning (6 credit hours):
(3) MAT 100, (3) MAT 150
- Quantitative Reasoning (6 credit hours):
- Liberal Arts Requirements (18 credit hours)
- English Language and Communication Skills (9 credit hours):
(3) ENGL 100, (3) ENL 110 or ENGL 106, (3) COM 114 - General Education Requirement (GEE) (9 credit hours):
Students must satisfy the requirements of the General Education as per the following conditions:- Courses must be drawn from the Liberal Arts Department and from the General Education areas below (refer to the Liberal Arts Department section in ACM Course Catalogue).
- The General Education areas are defined as:
- English Language and Communications Skills
- Social and Behavioral Ways of Knowing
- Humanistic and Artistic Ways of Knowing
- Interdisciplinary Ways of Knowing
- Courses may also be drawn from math, science, and professional selective courses as offered by ACM and with the Director’s permission.
- Courses that are already required under another category than General Education Elective, cannot be considered as a GEE course.
- ACM has the right to advise a student on a specific course under the GEE category.
- ACM has the right to assign some of the credits in the “General Education Requirement (GEE)” which are to be considered as part of the degree requirements in the form of course(s) available in the course catalogue (other than existing courses in the GEE category ) with Director’s approval. For example, Professional Selectives Courses may be offered at ACM discretion as mandatory selective and to be considered as part of the degree requirements.
