  • General Education Requirement (GEE) (8 credit hours):
    Students must satisfy the requirements of General Education as per the following conditions:
    1. Courses must be drawn from the Liberal Arts Department and from the General Education areas below (refer to the Liberal Arts Department section in the ACM Course Catalogue).
    2. The General Education areas are defined as follows:

    2. Social and Behavioral Ways of Knowing
    3. Humanistic and Artistic Ways of Knowing
    4. Interdisciplinary Ways of Knowing
    3. Courses may also be drawn from math, science, and professional selective courses as offered by ACM and with the Director’s permission.
    4. Courses that are already required under a category other than General Education Elective, cannot be considered as a GEE course.
    5. ACM has the right to advise a student on a specific course under the GEE category.
    6. ACM has the right to assign some of the credits in the “General Education (GEE)” which are to be considered as part of the degree requirements in the form of course(s) available in the course catalogue (other than existing courses in the GEE category ) with Director’s approval. For example, Professional Selectives and Internship Courses may be offered at ACM discretion as mandatory selective and to be considered as part of the degree requirements.
